If you stop paying rent during your lease agreement, you will be breaching a legally binding agreement. If your rent payment is late, you may be issued with a Breach on the grounds of rent arrears. If the breach is not rectified, the tenant may be issued with a notice to vacate and legal action could be taken to recover outstanding funds. It's important to communicate with your property reception team immediately if you have difficulties paying your rent on time to avoid any further action.
