Everything you need to know about securing your lease with a payment

Updated over a week ago

UniLodge will require a payment or payments (depending on property) to secure your lease. The first mandatory payment is typically called "Advanced Rent" and this payment is used to secure your room and contribute to your rental payments. You may be asked to pay 2 weeks or 4 weeks however it does vary by property so please read your instructions carefully when asked to pay.

The second payment is for your Bond or Security Deposit. You may be asked to pay this directly into a Trust account or be asked to provide a bank cheque when you arrive. Again follow the instructions carefully.

If you are asked to pay electronically, UniLodge will provide a link to our Payment Gateway within the Letter of Offer. Our payment gateway will typically load the payment amount into the cart for you. You then can choose to pay via Credit Card or Debit Card, Direct transfer or via AliPay or WeChat Pay. UniLodge provides a number of options to keep costs low for students.
